Modules and Group Dialogue

a picture of 3 images of peopleOur virtual classroom community consisted of two groups that included local teachers, college faculty and clinicians throughout the remote country we supported. As we developed this space we included generic images (as the icon on the left) and custom photographs of the actual remote location to expand the multiple ways information could be conveyed.

Our aim with this online community was intentionally designed to provide some introductory information on the 3 core principles of UDL. We developed each of the 5 modules with the same form and function that offered an introduction to the UDL concepts, interjected prompts to capture participants perspectives, and provided examples across representation, action and expression and engagement.
